WHAT IS A BIRTH DOULA?
A doula is a trained professional who provides informational, physical, and emotional support to a birthing person before, during, and after childbirth. Doulas are essential workers. They are clinically proven to help prevent interventions and provide a more satisfying birth experience. I trained with the Long Island Doula Association. Therefore, I’m an expert in evidence based care and natural labor coping skills.
Hi! I’m Cassie
Motherhood is beautiful, raw, and honestly challenging at times. After getting pregnant with my daughter, I realized I needed a lot more support. So, I turned to my local doula community and found an entire network of passionate professionals helping moms like me. I was so inspired by them that I quit my job in PR and became a birth and postpartum doula, birth educator, and motherhood health coach. Above all, I love support Long Island families! I can’t wait to meet you and help guide you, as others guided me.
